Maria Sharapova Hopes To Start Winning Ways With New Coach

Russian tennis superstar Maria Sharapova hopes to start her own winning streak with the hiring of her new coach Sven Groneveld.

Maria Sharapova is confident her new coach will teach her good points for her to win her next professional tennis matches. It can be recalled that Maria Sharapova has decided to cut ties with former coach former American tennis superstar Jimmy Connors three months back.

Maria Sharapova said she decided to cut ties with Connors due to some personal differences between them. The year 2013 had not been good for Maria Sharapova since she is injured most of the second half this year.

Before firing Connors, the latter replaced Thomas Hogstedt, Sharapova’s coach for more than two years. The new coach of Maria Sharapova is himself a well respected fellow in the sport of professional tennis.

According to reports, Groeneveld has been a part of the Adidas tennis development program and worked with players such as Ana Ivanovic and
Andy Murray. The fans of Maria Sharapova hopes Groeneveld will help their idol stay on top in her chosen sport which is currently being dominated by American tennis superstar Serena Williams.
